Audience Dashboard (bonus)
- Organic traffic results from visitors coming directly from a search results page.
- Direct traffic comes from a visit where the URL was typed straight into a browser. This is often something easy to remember (i.e. www.google.com) or a page that was bookmarked. Links from emails are another source of direct traffic.
- Referral traffic is traffic directed to your domain by a link from somewhere else on the internet.
If you have been making efforts to improve a particular type of traffic, like an email campaign, you should be able to see its effectiveness in the direct traffic section.
